My fellows1 in Wuhan invited me there to enjoy a happy National Day and I could not agree more.
It proved a glorious journey2: a three-hour bus ride, a train to Wuchang station, I could not wait to visit the spots3 and my friends.
We have made a two-day plan4. A visit to Wuhan University was really attractive, then the East Lake, Luojia Mountain both impressed me much, but which I enjoyed most was the zoo5. This was my first time I had been to see so many animals6. On this special holidy, the zoo was as busy as Grand Central Station7 and I was as happy as a lark and ran as quickly as I could to see the lions and tigers. But, to our regret,these giants8 were really lazy and unwilling to even stand up, regardless of us curious audience. However,we were still full of beans and paid to see the performance. A little snake was put into the nose of a lady, soon it came out from the mouth9! We had no words but to applaud thuderously. Then we were eager to see the monkeys, they even asked for a handout like little boys. Many throwed food up to these lovely monkeys, some food even came into the mouths directly10, how interesting!
