good morning, dear teacher and my friends.

it’s a very intresting topic today.

i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we"d go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.

every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a veryimportant role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.

my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now andpossibly in the future.

my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn"t have ourown house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father"sfactory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. ididn"t have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible bothfor my parents and me.

but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family somuch happiness, richer and richer.

when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find mesitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night hewould read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.

i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriouslyand to always smile.

like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is notgood at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computerdesk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’,‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ ,‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and soon. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studyingand playing on it

years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after himand i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say, ireally love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.

    thank you so much!

Good morning everyone, today is my turn to the speech. Can Money BuyHappiness? Can money buy happiness? Different people have different opinions. Some think yes, while others hold the opposite. It is true that with enough moneyone can buy all the things one wants, and live a life of comfort and security. However, it is equally true that lack of money causes great distress. It is acommon view that "money is the root of all evil." The pursuit of money drivesmany people to cheat and steal. In some places there is nothing that cannot bebought with money, resulting in corrupt societies where everybody ismiserable. So, money does not necessarily mean happiness. It all depends on howit is used. If we make honest and sensible use of money, it can be astepping-stone to happiness l Although money cannot buy happiness, it can makehappiness possible if it is employed sensibly.

in my 18 years of life, there have been many things. university days arethe best part of them. i can never forget the days when i stepped into myuniversity. i was impressed by its garden-like campus, its enthusiastic studentsand especially its learning atmosphere. i at once fell in love with it.

after the arduous military training, i get absolutely absorbed in mystudies. the classes given by the teachers are excellent. they provide us withinformation not only from our textbooks but from many other sources as well.they easily arouse my insatiable desire to take in as much as i can.

frankly speaking, at first i had some difficulty following the teachers.however, through my own efforts and thanks to my teachers" guidance, i maderemarkable progress. now i"ve benefited a lot from lectures and many otheracademic reports.

learning is a long process; i"ll keep exploring in the treasure house ofknowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and enteredthe real world. a publishing house offered me a part-time job in compilation andrevision.

at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were reallysurprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only oneday. gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinioni turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.

i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be trulyhappy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once wentto a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there whocould not afford school. while showing them how broad and how civilized theouter world is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honestyand their purity. i couldn"t control my tears on the day when we left. theprecious experience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility onthe shoulders of us, future teachers.

besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i dobody building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write aplay and put it on in our spare time.

campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have differentchoices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish thehope that one day they"ll become outstanding. but there are indeed some studentsstill under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playingcards. they"re busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. they forgetcompletely about their mission as college students and the hope of theirmotherland.

finally, i do hope everybody can try their best to become a worthy citizenof the country. i do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation andmake great contributions to society!

    英语演讲稿材料3分钟4

Let me begin my speech with a replay of scenes familiar to most, if notall, of those present here today.

Mum, im sorry, but i need 3,000 yuan for mytuition this year.

Mmum, it is my friends birthday tomorrow, i must buy her apresent.

Mum, this jacket was out of fashion long ago, would you do me afavor?

Take. the relationship between a mother and a child always seems tofollow such a pattern.

I know my mother is always there for me, providing mewith everything i need; from food to clothing, from tuition to pocket money.

Inever thought twice about all she did until one day she said, will there be atime that youll say you have taken enough from me?

Like a child endlesslyasking, we humans, throughout history, have been continually demanding what wedesire from nature.

We enjoy the comfort and beauty of our furniture, yet wenever bother to think about the serious soil erosion caused bydeforestation.

We take it for granted that we must warm ourselves in wintertimes, yet we seldom realize the burning away of precious natural resources.

Weappreciate all the prosperity from the development of modern industry, yet fewwould give the slightest consideration to the global air and water pollutioncaused by industrial wastes.

Our ruthless exploitation has permanently impairedour mother earth.

As we tragically learned from last summers floods.

    We cannotcontinue our carelessness.

Finally, standing here at the threshold of the 21stcentury, ()we cannot help thinking of our posterity.

Nature is not only themother of the present generation, but also the mother of the generations tocome. How severely our descendents will criticize us if we leave them a barrenand lifeless mother? how much more they will appreciate us if we give them aworld of harmony to inherit? let us start respecting and caring for nature fromnow on. Let us start the campaign of creating a mutually beneficialrelationship between people and nature right from this moment.

With this newstart, i firmly believe, that our children, and our childrens children will livein a brand new age of green trees, clean air, crystal water, blue sky and aneven more promising world!

    Good morning everyone

It"s a great honor for me to stand here to deliver a speech to you. Thentoday I want to talk something about dreams and reality.

As the famous Russian litterateur Lev Tolstoy (列夫 托尔斯泰)said, "Ideal is thebeacon(烟火 灯塔). Without ideal, there is no secure (无虑的, 安全的, 安心的, 可靠的,保险的)direction; without a direction, there is no life." So there"s no doubt thateveryone needs his or her own ideal. Have you ever thought that what ispractical and sensible(.明智的, 有感觉的, 明理的) will connect with our most treasureddreams? Maybe, to somebody, reality has little relation to ideal. To othersnothing can be done without the sense of reality. So make our dreams a part ofour reality. And make our reality a part of our dreams. There is no reason whyour dreams must oppose our reality. Improve our dreams and our reality bybringing them together.

As a university student, establishing a dream is one of the most importantthings we have to do .But everyone must see the reality clearly at first. Yourfamily condition, your personal ability, your social intercourse (交往 交流), yoursubject and the job you want to do, these things show you the reality and leadyou to establish a dream.

Further more, difficult or otherwise, we should put the power of realityinto our dreams. Last but not least remember to work hard at the task of chasing追逐 our dreams. Do believe that we can achieve our ideal step by step by thepassage of time!

In the end, I want to share with you a poetry named " I think I can"

Maybe you can not understand the meaning of the poetry , But do not beworried ,Let me tell you the meaning

    Thank you for your listening!
