Fry Fish（煎鱼） I wanted to fry some fish for myself and my two guests. I had three fish but the frying pan（煎锅） only holds（容纳） two at a time. It takes 30 seconds to fry one side of a fish.
So how did I manage to fry both sides of all three fish in 1.5 minutes?
Farmer Jones’ Will（遗嘱）
When farmer Jones died he left a herd of 17 cows. In his will he gave instructions that the cows were to be divided as follows:
1/2 to his eldest son, Sam; 1/3 to his second son, Michael; and 1/9 to his youngest son, Benjamin. The three brothers could not see how this was possible. Luckily for them, a passing professor of mathematics heard of their problem and solved it for them.
