【摘要】主动探究式学习,能让学生展开想象,激发创造,从而培养学生善于观察、敢于创新、乐于表达、勇于交流的能力,对学生提高英语学习水平和思维能力等有着十分重要的意义。

一、教学目标
①运用Look at the . Its/Theyre .来复习如何表述自己所看到的场景和物体特征。
②通过I like ing.的句型来表达个人喜好。
③在阅读思考和讨论分享的过程中,体验故事情境,培养良好的英语思维和表达习惯。
二、课堂学习
Pre - task:
通过猜谜游戏,引出故事的两位主人公。
T:
Lets play a guessing game.
Its an insect. Its black and small. It likes living and working together. What is it?
S1:
Ant.
T:
Its an insect too. Its green. It can hop . What is it?
S2:
Grasshopper.
T:
Yes! Let s learn the story of Ben and Bob.
While - task:
1.图片排序。
T:
Can you put the pictures into the right order and talk about the reason?
You can use the sentences:
Look at the . Its/Theyre . Its .
S:
Look at the grass. Its green. Its spring.
通过让学生把图片按照正确顺序排列的练习方式,能让学生迅速了解故事发展的时间顺序。
2.观察Ben和 Bob在四季交替中所喜欢做的事情。
T: What does Ben like?
S1:
He likes sleeping in spring.
S2:
He likes singing and dancing in autumn.
用展示图片的方式呈现故事的结构,能够突出一些重要的内容,帮助学生集中注意力,并對每一幅图进行句型操练。
3. 以问题为切入口,引导学生有层次地思考与探究。
T:
Work in groups:
Brainstorm what does Bob act in spring.
①What does he say?
②What does he do?
Discuss in groups about the next two parts (autumn and winter).
4.头脑风暴:开放式结尾。
T :Can you choose the best ending of the story? Now free talk about the best ending with your classmates.
S1:Bob will invite Ben to his home.
S2:Ben will die, because he has nothing to eat.
学生展开想象,各抒己见,促进思维能力的发展。
5.小组合作表演文本,促进深度学习。
T:
Now lets do the group work:
Act out the story.
台下学生根据表演小组的语言语调、动作表情以及创新程度给出相应的奖励分。
Post –task:
1.课堂总结。
T:
What do we learn today?
S1:这节课我们学习了“Look at the . Its/Theyre ____. Its .”的句型。
S2:
可以用I like doing…的句型来表达个人喜好。
S3:No pains, no gains.
2.作业布置。从文本走向生活。
T:
Our homework is:Think about a question:
Who is happier, Ben or Bob? Why?
三、课后反思
本节课做得较好的地方有如下几点:
1.除了操练教材内容,还鼓励学生对已学的知识进行滚动复习。
2.以小组合作为课堂的主要活动形式,通过小组讨论、开放式的故事结尾展示,变被动学习为主动探究式学习,让学生展开想象,激发创造欲,主动参与到课堂学习中,体验到表演的快乐,营造一个轻松、民主、探索的自由空间,帮助学生全面成长。
尽管本节课有如上优点,但由于学生能表达的英语水平有限,不能最大限度地把故事按照所想的呈现出来,因此我们应该在平时课堂多拓展知识面,并在课后鼓励学生阅读英语绘本。
