学校校长毕业致辞英语版
To the xx graduates，
Today， we want to formally celebrate the proud accomplishment you have achieved， being accepted into tier universities across the world.
Getting into such prestigious schools is but the first step， since you would have to continue to think about the kind of person you want to become.
Several weeks ago， I saw dialogues from Chinese parents WeChat group of University of Pennsylvania. let me paraphrase what was said: “My son applied to do volunteer work in Africa’s Sierra Leone for 4 months after his graduation. His father asked if it was possible to change to a different destination where the living standard was better， and I shared similar sentiments with my husband. My younger son asked me at this time: Mom， whose son you thought should go to such places instead?”
This mother finally told her son， “My original intent on sending you to Ivy university was hoping you could have a better life in the future. Yet in the end， you ended up wanting for a better world. It’s me who didn’t keep up with your growth”.
Certainly， successfully getting into a prestigious school doesn’t mean becoming cornerstone of “Exquisite egoist”. When the criteria for success has become money， housing， or cars， how many people are actually willing to contribute towards the betterment of the world?
xx has half passed. This year， the world has continued to change. But no matter if Jerusalem became the capital of Israel capital or talks of Korea’s unification， there hasn’t been “out of control”. China’s progress has also been unstoppable， whether it has been Chang 'e 4 space exploration， or 5G era starts to connect the whole world together. But “ZIE corporation” has told us that in this era， we need technology， and more importantly， rules. As for all of you， you need to do your part in respecting the rules.
Someone said that the biggest threat to Chinese education is the dangers of different values. I hope all of you can use the platform of international education to ultimately realize “counteroffensive”.
One of the most important factors of values is knowing the accept your culture identity， across different cultures. This is your “identity card” and also your “transportation pass” along the global stage.
Never forget your birth name， as they are written in Chinese， and bring with them the hopes of this country and your families.
Seven students names with “Jia”， means “very good”- hopeful for positive things to happen and to create innovative results.
Five students name with”Zi”， means “son” – Ascendance of the five children is to uphold tomorrow’s duties.
MingJing – our names are separated by just a letter， I believe that you better understand the power of calm.
ManSong – Hope you can become a new “orator”.
SiXiao – The purpose of thinking is knowledge， for a more colorful life.

The strength of the younger generation will cause a stronger China. The prosperous of the younger generation will create a more fortunate world.
I hope that you can all understand， whether it is soon or the distant future， to write your own chapter using the power of youth in the book about the hopes of China and the world.
Yet your alma mater xx， will always be your spiritual home！
