As one of the three volunteers selecting from our school, I felt excited. In our spare time I practiced a great deal of, especially in my spoken English to ensure the best service. Then comes the day. Early in the morning I arrived where the match would begin and I found many volunteers already there do preparations. During the match, I, with the others, were busy helping the runners all the time. We were highly praised for which we did, without which, the race could have been a success.

It was my first time to be a volunteer for such important a sport event, which made me proud.

It was on a warm autumn day that my father and I walk into my new high school. After registered in the classroom, the volunteer took me to my dormitory. Altogether I had five roommates, two of which arrived later. I got

to know my new roommate immediately. Although I was quite unwilling to

In my childhood, my parents sent me to learn Chinese calligraphy. However, things are quite opposite to their expectations. Not only I get bored with hours of practice but also I doubted about the valuable of it. Nevertheless, when I entered high school, write calligraphy proved both essential or beneficial. It was at that time when I realized how important it is to master a certain skill.

Judging from my own experience, I want to say a few word to those children who have a same trouble as I did. Do not refuse to learn a skill when young, as at the long run you will find them helpful.

Last Sunday morning, when I was having a walk in the park near my home, I came across a crew make a new film with one of my favorite actor. In my school life, a most unforgettable person is my math teacher. Not only did she helped us in class but also after class. I still remember the time that I got a “B” in the final exam. I liked math best but the teacher took pride in me all the time. However, I failed. I felt so disappointing that I lost my energy and confident.
